"Lost and Found, Again" brings back a small part of what the world lost on September 11, 2001, with the re-dedication of Louise Nevelson's masterwork "Sky Gate, New York."

On the Vision Pro, lean into and look around any of the Museum's thousands of paintings! With Spatial Scenes, you can now be immersed not just in the Museum, but in any of its works of art.

The Museum is now also available on the iPad as well as the Vision Pro and Macintosh. And your personal Member's Lounge can now be shared between all your devices. See the FAQ for details.

And of course we're always curating and adding new rooms. We have a new special exhibition "Popes Throughout the Ages," as well as new rooms for Jean-Honoré Fragonard, Kazimir Malevich, Paul Signac and James Tissot.

The big news is that the Art Authority Museum is now available on Macintosh as well as Vision Pro. And your personal Member's Lounge can now be shared between all your devices. See the FAQ for details.

Other major additions include:

  • Room signs include a searchable list of all works in the room. Tap a title to move in front of that work.
  • Major new artist rooms, including Henri Matisse, Frida Kahlo and André Derain
  • When moving from one room to another (through a work's contextual menu), you're positioned in front of the work you were viewing previously if it's in the new room
  • "Art Like This" rooms are styled based on their principal work

What’s New with the Art Authority Museum

In concert with Apple’s new VisionOS 2.0, we continue to build out the Art Authority Museum as well. Here are some of our major improvements:

  • Your own private Member’s Lounge! When viewing any work in any room, tap-and-hold to bring up the contextual menu, then select “Add to Member’s Lounge”. You can access your Lounge from that same menu, or from the museum’s Entrance menu.
  • New Early Room, featuring a 2800-year old Assyrian Lamassu
  • Over a dozen new artist and partner rooms
  • New and improved ways of getting around
  • Gift shop. Although still under construction, you can now purchase giclée prints of major works through the 1000Museums Gift Shop.
